This unit explains what the course entails & welcomes students to begin.

Products
This unit goes through the products used in Classic Lash extensions in detail. Students will reference products in their TAL Student Kit and also be made aware of some additional products that are required (basic cleaning items)

Different lash extension types/products
Unit 3 dives into the theory behind lash extensions and the products available in the market. Students will begin to gain an understanding of the professional treatment that is Classic Lash extensions.

Eye Shapes
Learn the different natural eye shapes of humans and how we incorporate that into lash extensions.

Lash Growth Cycles
The science of lash growth cycles helps us understand how to best care for eyelashes and ensure the best possible use of eyelash extensions to preserve and nurture these natural growth cycles.

Contraindications
Protect yourself and your clients. Understanding and identifying contraindications are a vital component of lash extensions, students will become confident in recognising these in this unit.

Cleansing & Prep
The foundations of great lash extensions begin with the prep and base, in this unit students will learn how to prepare the eye for the best start to a beautiful set of lash extensions.

Taping & Eye Prep
This unit educated students on how to protect the bottom lashes and set the clients eye up to be comfortable to ensure the best smooth and pain free treatment possible.

Mapping the Eye & Styling
Learn how to master the extent of creativity and capability of being a talented lash stylist. This unit teaches students how to map out the eye and plan extension sizes to create a range of desired styles.

Tiles, tweezers & pickup
The tools of the trade! In unit 10 students are introduced to technique and begin to use the key tools.

Glue Dipping & isolation
Time to make magic! The glue holds all your hard work together, learning the correct application of this is vital! This unit requires patience and a lot of practice! It takes time to work on a steady hand and developing your technique.

Application & Attachment
Just like the previous unit, mastering this unit is vital in ensuring you become a skilled lash stylist. Patience and practice is key, our tip is: repetition! Keep practising and you will develop a steady hand, speed in technique and confidence. This is not an instant skill, so please remember this and stick with your practice.

Mannequin Practice
It’s time to put all the techniques & practice together now and test out your skills!  * note- this unit requires video / picture submission

Removal
This unit is important! Knowing how to unstick stick glue and remove lashes is a skill you must have under your belt!

Refills
Possibly the most important unit in building a successful lash business is mastering refills and return clients! Students learn how and when clients should have refills.
